While the Glo2Facial is designed to be safe and nurturing for most skin types, there are certain conditions where it may not be the right time to embark on this ritual. Please review these contraindications with care, and consult with your physician if you have any concerns.

General Contraindications

This treatment is not recommended for those who are:

Under 18 years of age
Pregnant or nursing
Currently undergoing or with a history of cancer (especially skin cancer or pre-malignant moles)
Living with immune system impairments (HIV, AIDS, or those using immunosuppressive medications)
Experiencing active conditions in the treatment area such as sores, eczema, rash, fragile or injured skin, burns, severe acne, rosacea, dermatitis, psoriasis, or active cold sores (Herpes Simplex)
With excessively or freshly tanned skin (within the last few days)
Healing from a surgical, invasive, or ablative procedure in the treatment area
Known to have severe allergies, cosmetic sensitivities, or a history of reactions such as hives
Managing vascular conditions such as telangiectasia, varicose veins, thrombosis, or phlebitis in the treatment area
Experiencing uncontrolled systemic conditions such as diabetes, nervous disorders, or heart disease (please consult your physician first)
Living with bleeding disorders, clotting irregularities, or currently using anticoagulants
Prone to keloid scarring, delayed wound healing, or with very fragile, excessively dry skin
